About
Tefeshet graduated with a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy from the University College of Osteopathy and is a Registered Osteopath with the General Osteopathic Council. She has also obtained a qualification in sports massage and kinesiology taping and uses this at times in conjunction with Osteopathic techniques in her treatments.
She is experienced in treating a wide range of patients from sports people, office workers and elderly people. Every session is tailored to each patient and encompasses both hands on treatment as well as advice on lifestyle activities and exercises.
Tefeshet has a special interest in Women’s Health. She treats pre-natal and postpartum mothers alleviating symptoms related to pregnancy and breastfeeding. In addition to new mums, Tefeshet is interested in Paediatric Osteopathy for newborns and children, and she is currently undergoing post-graduate training at the Osteopathic Centre for Children (OCC).
Tefeshet has a passionate approach to Osteopathy having experienced the benefits herself when she was diagnosed with hypermobility syndrome (connective tissue disorder). She is now a member of the Hypermobility Syndromes Association, which allows her to acquire valuable training on how to support patients living with hypermobility syndrome.
Tefeshet is a mum of two and is fluent in English and Amharic.
