Restore Comfort and Movement: Scar Therapy with India Cooke
From March 2026 we are adding a brand new offering to our list of services.
India Cooke will be providing specialised Scar Therapy treatments to support scars after surgery, injury or trauma.
This gentle, hands-on work looks beyond appearance, focusing on the deeper layers of tissue and how scars may be affecting movement, comfort and the body as a whole.
Scar therapy can help with:
• C-section scars
• Surgical scars (abdominal, orthopaedic, breast, laparoscopic)
• Facial scars
• Injury, burn or accident scars
• Cosmetic or medical procedure scars
• Older scars that feel tight, numb or restricted
What to expect:
Each session includes a full assessment and tailored treatment using gentle manual techniques, movement and stretching, new negative pressure (cupping), new intra-oral work for facial scars (with consent), new supportive taping, plus self-care guidance to support progress at home. Suitable for both newer (fully healed) and long-standing scars.
